In-Home Disability Support
Support that comes to you — flexible, reliable, and tailored to your daily routine.
What is In-Home Support?
In-home support is exactly what it sounds like — a support worker comes to your home to help you with the tasks you need assistance with. Unlike Supported Independent Living where support is provided around the clock in a shared or dedicated home, in-home support is delivered on a flexible, hourly basis that fits around your life.
This type of support is ideal for NDIS participants who live independently — whether in their own home, a rental, or with family — but need a hand with certain daily tasks. It might be help getting ready in the morning, preparing meals during the week, or keeping on top of household chores.
At Delta Community Support, we provide in-home support services across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and Melbourne. Our support workers are matched to you based on your needs, your preferences, and your personality. We understand that inviting someone into your home is personal, and we take that seriously.
The hours and frequency of in-home support are completely flexible. Some participants use our services every day, while others only need support a few times a week. You are in control of when and how your support is delivered.
Who is In-Home Support For?
In-home support suits a wide range of NDIS participants. It is particularly well suited for people who are living independently but find that certain daily tasks are challenging to manage on their own.
You might benefit from in-home support if you:
- ✓ Live alone and need assistance with personal care in the mornings or evenings
- ✓ Need help keeping your home clean and tidy but want to stay in your own place
- ✓ Want to learn how to cook meals, manage a budget, or build other daily living skills
- ✓ Have a physical disability that makes certain household tasks difficult
- ✓ Are recovering from a hospital stay and need temporary additional support
- ✓ Live with family who provides primary support but needs respite or extra help during the day
In-home support is available to NDIS participants of all ages and with all types of disability. Whether you need a couple of hours a week or daily support, we can design a schedule that works for you.

How NDIS Funding Works for In-Home Support
In-home support is funded under Core Supports — Assistance with Daily Life in your NDIS plan. This is the same category that covers other daily support services, and it is typically funded as an hourly rate.
The amount of in-home support you can access depends on what is included in your NDIS plan. Your support coordinator or plan manager can help you understand your budget and how many hours of support it covers.
At Delta Community Support, we are transparent about our pricing and always work within NDIS price limits. We will provide you with a clear service agreement that outlines the supports you will receive, the hours allocated, and the rates that apply.
If you are self-managed, plan-managed, or NDIA-managed, we can work with all funding management types. We handle the invoicing and claims process so you can focus on living your life.
Our Approach to In-Home Support
When you invite us into your home, we understand the trust that involves. Our approach is built on respect, reliability, and a genuine commitment to helping you thrive.
Consistent Workers
We match you with support workers who suit your needs and personality, and we keep your team as consistent as possible. You will not have to explain your routine to a new face every week.
Flexible Scheduling
Life does not always follow a rigid schedule. We offer flexible support times — mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekdays, or weekends — so your support fits around your life, not the other way around.
Building Independence
Our goal is not to create dependency. We actively work with you to build skills and confidence so that over time, you may need less support — or different support as your goals evolve.
Respecting Your Home
Your home is your space. Our workers follow your rules, your preferences, and your way of doing things. We are there to support you, not to take over.
Ready to Get Started?
